KENOSHA, Wis. — The Carthage College men's soccer team fell to Hope in close competition Tuesday afternoon at Art Keller Field.

Final score: Hope 1, Carthage 0
Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin - Art Keller Field
Records: Hope 1-1-4, Carthage 2-4-1

The Flying Dutchman scored off a corner kick in the 30th minute taking a 1-0 lead into halftime.
In the second half, Carthage put shots on goal but the visitors keeper made two saves to keep it at 1-0.
Though the Firebirds had chances in the closing minutes, Hope took the victory.

Making his first start in goal, Tino Korhonen made two saves in the contest.
Aidan Crowder led the team in shots with four over 80 minutes played.
Mickey Reilly and Eli Schoffstall both had three saves in the match.

"Our performance tonight deserved better than the result. A disciplined effort restricted a
good Hope team to very few chances. We created a number of opportunities in the second
half, and with a little more quality, it would have been enough to secure the victory."
