HOUSTON, Tx. — The Carthage women's golf team knocked two strokes off of yesterday's opening round of 326 to shoot 324 and remain in 18th of 29 in the second round of the NCAA DIII Women's Golf Championship this Wednesday afternoon.

Kate Munro again leads the Firebird scorecard, matching her first round score of 78 (+6) to card 156 (+12) for her first 36 holes. Madi McCoy and Adrienne Rohwedder are tied with mutual scores of 166 (+22), while Alina Brindza and Lorelei Oomens both have 169 (+25).

The third round of the NCAA DIII Championship is set to begin tomorrow at 1:30 PM. After the final scores tomorrow, the top fifteen teams from the field will advance further into the tournament. 

Carthage currently sits just 13 strokes behind Trinity University in 15th.
