Majer Wrestles at NCWWC National Championship

ADRIAN, Mich. — The Carthage College women's wrestling student-athlete Natalie Majer concluded the Women's Collegiate Women's Wrestling Coalition (NCWWC) National Championship on Friday at site host Adrian College.

Wrestling at 116 pounds, Majer, from Huntley, Ill., drew a bye in the opening round to start the day. Majer then lost by tech fall in round two of the championship bracket. After receiving another bye, Majer lost by decision 6-4 in the third round of the consolation bracket.

Majer finishes her freshman season with a record of 14-15.
