Gilbert and Kochersperger Take Eighth at Upper Midwest Regional

EAU, CLAIRE, Wis. — Carthage College men's wrestling student-athletes Kobe Gilbert and Mason Kochersperger took eighth place on the second day of the NCAA Division III Upper Midwest Regional held at Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

At 174 pounds, freshman Kobe Gilbert, from Roselle, Ill., lost by fall in the seventh-place match (4:06). For Kochersperger, the freshman from Kenosha, Wis., he fell in close competition by decision 3-1 in the heavyweight bout.
