LEBANON, Ill.  — The Carthage College women's wrestling team competed at the Bearcat Open on Saturday hosted by McKendree University.

Natalie Majer earned 4.5 team points on the day at 116 pounds after picking up two tech fall wins (10-0) in the consolation bracket. Majer lost by decision (10-4) in the fifth round of the consolation bracket to end the day. At 143 pounds, Adele Senzig won by decision (13-7) in the first round of the championship tournament.

Next up is the Women's Collegiate Women's Wrestling Coalition (NCWWC) Northwest Region Championship on Sunday, February 20 starting at 10 a.m.
