KENOSHA, Wis.— Continuing their non-conference slate, the Carthage College men's basketball team picked up their third win of the early season defeating Rose-Hulman on Tuesday afternoon at Tarble Arena.

Final score: Carthage 75 - Rose-Hulman 68

Records: Carthage (3-1), Rose-Hulman (1-3)

Early in the first, AJ Johnson connected on a layup which put up the Firebirds 11-9.
After the visitors went ahead by two, Carthage scored 10 unanswered points flipping the score to 23-13 with a layup and made a free throw from Anthony Bernero.
Rose-Hulman got within five to close out the half trailing 35-30.
A pair of free throws from Joey Jendusa saw the score move to 57-51 in the second.
With 4:27 left, Johnson dialed in a three and a steal and dunk from Antuan Nesbitt
The visitors got within eight until free throws from Nesbitt with 32 seconds left sealed the victory for Carthage.

AJ Johnson led the Firebirds in points with 21, going 5-8 from long range.
Antuan Nesbitt added 13 points and six rebounds.
Anthony Bernero registered 12 points, six rebounds, and a team-best three blocks.
Fillip Bulatovic and Colton Sigel each had four assists for the Firebirds.
