KENOSHA, Wis. — The Carthage College men's soccer team was defeated by North Central (Ill.) in conference action on Saturday night 3-1 at Art Keller Field.

• The Cardinals put two on the board first, taking a 2-0 margin into the halftime break. 
• After North Central (Ill.) added another, Eli Schoffstall scored off a rebound in the box. 
• The visitors held on to win 3-1. 

 

• Eli Schoffstall registered his fourth career goal of the season. 
• Mickey Reilly added another assist and is now tied for second in the conference in that category. 
• In goal, Tino Korhonen made two saves while Christian Lekki made one. 

"It was a disappointing performance tonight. We gave away two goals in the first half, which made our job incredibly tough. We need better consistency after such a good game on Wednesday. We are still learning, so that will come, but it still hurts when we do not perform to our ability."
