KENOSHA, Wis. — The Carthage College men's soccer team picked up a 5-0 shutout over Lake Forest on Wednesday night.  

• Final score: Carthage 5 - Lake Forest 0
• Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin - Art Keller Field
• Records: Carthage 6-6-2, Lake Forest (4-8-2)

• The Firebirds got on the board first as Grant Ostertag scored his first goal of the season in the 40th minute of the first half.
• In the second, Mickey Reilly doubled the lead to 2-0. 
• Goals from Collin Moran, Mickey Reilly, and Jack Georgi sealed the victory for Carthage.

 

 

• Mickey Reilly concluded the game with six points, scoring two goals and registering two assists. 
• Luis Garduno and Mason McCaw each had an assist in the contest. 
• Collin Moran and Reilly had two shots on goal as the Firebirds outshot Lake Forest 12-4. 
• In goal, Tino Korhonen made four saves.  

"A strong team performance tonight. We changed the starting lineup, and the guys came in and did a great job. It's good to know we have depth in the squad, and we can go into the season's final stretch with competition for places."
