SAN DESTIN, Fla. - The Carthage Firebirds women's golf team concluded the fall portion of its 2022-2023 schedule at Baytowne Golf Club in San Destin, Florida for the Golfweek Invitational. Carthage finished 24th of 24 teams, facing a very competitive field of teams from across the nation. Of the 24 participating teams, 11 are currently ranked in the Mizuno Women's Golf Coaches Association Coaches Poll.

Alina Brindza led all Firebirds by shooting a 253 over the three-day tournament, leaving her with an 81.92 scoring average over the fall. Sophomore golfer and 2022 all-conference honoree
Lorelei Oomens holds the lowest scoring average on the team through the fall slate (81.42).
