Coachs Remarks

"It was a good day for the Firebirds today. We got off to a slow start with UW Lacrosse but made some lineup changes and the team responded. Kaitie Rohe, Molly Skoda, and Liv Carel carried the offensive load. Ella Pettinger and Leena Ajibola had some timely blocks. Aubree Bucheger is back after an extended time away and she was a real steady influence for us serving, passing, and playing defense. She and Jenna Damon did a great job taking over the back row. Tatum Kebisek did a very nice job running the offense. Against Platteville Liv Carel had a big match on offense. We dug 20 more balls than them which were key to our win. Devinn Bell and Leena Ajibola got some big blocks when we needed them. Tatum and Kiley McCarthy ran the offense effectively. Now it's a day off to get ready for our match with North Central on the road."
