Head Coach Leanne Ulmer

"Fun and competitive day for the Firebirds in Iowa. We really needed to get our offense going and we did. Great ball control helped Jenna Millen find our hitters and we hit .441 against a very good team. Grinnell was a very good ball control team with strong outside hitters. They were a strong serving team as well. I am really proud of how the team battled after losing the first set. Haley Horner, Molly Skoda, and Liv Carel had a good day at the net. Jenna Millen set a couple of good matches and Makayla Morgan and Kathryn Shuty did a nice job off the bench to get us out of some tough spots. It's great to get back in the win column."
