BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Carthage women's golf team continues to impress this season, combining for 305 (+17) to end round one of the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Invite at the top of the leaderboard among 20 teams in attendance.

Leading the way for the Firebird scorecard was Adrienne Rohwedder who shot an even 72 (E) for the day to land a second-place tie among all golfers. Seniors Madi McCoy and Kate Munro also performed well this evening, tying for seventh-place with mutual scores of 74 (+2). Lorelei Oomens carded an 85 (+13) in the fifth position for Carthage, while Alina Brindza followed one stroke behind with 86 (+14)

Sophomore Symantha Rohwedder shot just three strokes over par to card 75 (+3) and finish in a 14th-place tie as an individual. Maggie Bahr and Sami Plankey both shot 79 (+7) for their first 18 holes.
