NAPERVILLE, Ill..  — The Carthage College women's wrestling team competed in the North Central (Ill.) Invitational on Saturday finishing 15th in the open.  

At 116 pounds, Natalie Majer lost by tech fall in her opening match before losing by fall in the first round of the consolation. Hilda Gonzalez lost in round two by decision 10-3 and lost by fall in the third round of the consolation at 136 pounds. In the 143 weight class, Adele Senzig lost by fall in both of her matches. 

Carthage returns to action after the new year facing Augustana (Ill.) on Thursday, January 6 at 5:30 p.m.
