LEXINGTON, Ky. – The National Volleyball Association and American Volleyball Coaches Association (NVA/AVCA) announced the 2020 NVA/AVCA All-America teams for NCAA Division III men's volleyball on Monday with Carthage College student-athlete Matt Slivinski landing on the all-america first team list.  

Slivinski, a junior from Willow Springs, Ill., was also selected as the first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Player of the Year and NVA/AVCA all-region team last week. Slivinski led the Red Men in kills 191 and collected a team-high 35 service aces for CCIW first team honors. 

It marks the second time Slivinski has been named to the list as he was a first team all-america award winner the previous season and becomes the fifth Carthage student-athlete to garner multiple first team honors.
