Carthage's 12-3 cushion in set one was enough to secure them a 25-14 victory, much thanks to
Evan Walsh's five kills in the frame. After Carthage jumped to a 5-0 lead in set two, the Thunder narrowed their margin to one point on two occasions at 14-13 and 15-14. Carthage responded with a 4-0 run and a 19-14 lead, which put the nail in the coffin in a 25-20 win in set two.
Â
Allard posted 15 assists in set three, where Arnold and Walsh each registered five kills to propel Carthage to a 25-18 win and 3-0 match sweep.

The Red Men will return to action on Wednesday, March 6 when they host Cardinal Stritch University at 7:00 p.m.
