KENOSHA, WIS. — The Carthage College women's soccer team fell to No. 7 Wheaton (Ill.) 5-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) competition Wednesday at Art Keller Field.
Carthage (7-7-2, 4-2-1 CCIW) struck first with a goal from
Libby Snyder to take a 1-0 lead before Wheaton (Ill.) (15-1-1, 7-0 CCIW) tallied two straight goals to take a 2-1 lead into halftime. The Thunder added three more goals in the second half to go on to the 5-1 victory.
Carthage wraps up the regular season on Saturday, November 2 starting at 5 p.m. at Art Keller Field.
