KENOSHA, WIS. — The Carthage College women's soccer team fell to Augustana (Ill.) 2-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) competition Saturday at Art Keller Field.
Carthage (7-8-2, 4-3-1 CCIW) struck first with a goal from
Jacey Kent to take a 1-0 advantage until Augustana (Ill.) (10-3-2, 5-3 CCIW) tied the game in the 33rd minute. The Vikings took control of the game with a goal in the 62nd minute to go on to the 2-1 victory.
Carthage ends the season with 7-8-2 overall record, 4-3-1 in CCIW play.
