DECATUR, Ill. — The Carthage College women's soccer team collected a 3-2 win over Millikin in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) competition Saturday at Frank M. Lindsay Field.
Millikin (3-9-2, 1-5 CCIW) got on the board first in the 13th minute to go up 1-0. Six minutes later, Carthage (7-6-2, 4-1-1 CCIW) tied the game with a goal from
Libby Snyder. The Big Blue added another goal in the 33rd minute before
Samantha Sisto tied the game at two. Sisto scored again in the 76th minute to give the Lady Reds the 3-2 victory.
Carthage returns home facing No. 7 Wheaton (Ill.) on Wednesday, October 30 at 7 p.m.
