LA CROSSE, Wis. --The Carthage College women's soccer team fell to Wisconsin-La Crosse 2-0 in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon at Veterans Memorial Field. 

Wisconsin La-Crosse (6-4-1) got on the board first in the 24th minute to take a 1-0 lead off an Eagles corner kick. Wisconsin-La Crosse doubled their lead in the 64th minute of the second half to 2-0. Carthage (3-4-2) had opportunities to shrink deficit but were unable to find the back of the net. Wisconsin-La Crosse went on to take the 2-0 victory. 

The Lady Reds return home to face Elmhurst on Saturday, October 5 at 5 p.m.
