BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Carthage College women's lacrosse team suffered their second straight College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin loss on Sunday, falling at Illinois Wesleyan University, 17-2.

The loss drops the Lady Reds to 8-5 on the season and to 1-2 in the CCIW, while the Titans improve to 3-0 in the league and 9-4 overall.

The Titans controlled the game from start to finish, opening with a 12-1 first half lead before slowing the pace of the game down in the second half to the 15-goal differential.

The Lady Reds struggled right out of the gate, losing 18-of-20 draws and being outshot 31-9 in the game, including 28-9 on goal.
