KENOSHA, Wis. – The Carthage College men's tennis team completed a weekend sweep of their College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin opponents on Saturday, defeating Millikin University at Kenosha's Eastside Tennis and Fitness Club, 6-3.
With the win the Red Men improve to 8-9 on the season and to 3-1 in the CCIW, while Millikin drops to 8-6 and 2-2 in the conference.
With his two wins today,
Herman Abban became the 21st member of Red Men tennis to join the Carthage College's "100 Win Club". Abban opened the day with double partner
Daniel Moore, defeating Millikin's number one duo of Jacob Palley and Colin Sandgren, and followed it up with a win over Palley in number one singles.
