MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Carthage College Red Men remained unbeaten in 2018 with a 3-0 sweep of the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday in Milwaukee.
The win sends the Red Men to 12-0, while MSOE falls to 3-3.
Carthage hit .158 in the win with 37 kills from 34 assists, while the Raiders hit .039 with 30 kills from 29 assists.
Evan Walsh and
Mason Moore led the Red Men with eleven and ten kills apiece, and
Zach Lillig led hitters with a .500 attack percentage, knocking down six kills in ten attempts with just one error.
Matt Reinsel, who had the final kill of the match, shelled out a match-high 33 assists and picked up 11 digs.
Lillig, the senior middle, also led the Red Men with four blocks.
Carthage will return to action next at Tarble Arena on Saturday, February 24th as they host Marian University. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
