KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College women's soccer team concluded non-conference play with a Saturday-afternoon bout against Lake Forest College at Art Keller Field. The Lady Reds registered a season-high five goals, all in the second half, en route to a 5-0 shutout victory. Both teams combined for just three shots within the opening 45:00 before Carthage outshot the Foresters 13-2 in the second half.

Samantha Sisto continued her monstrous week with a pair of goals while
Malaika Bigirindavyi,
Taylor Stenmark and
Kelsey Dejno each contributed one. Foresters goalkeeper Paige Thiel made three saves in the complete-game effort. Lady Reds goalkeeper
Sara Lieffrig recorded no saves throughout the opening 76:00 in net before
Emily Furmanek logged the final 14:00, where she made one save.

Carthage improves to 6-4-2, 0-1-1 CCIW while Lake Forest falls to 4-9, 0-4 MWC.

All three shots in the first half were headers, two of them belonged to the Lady Reds as
Morgan Verbeten and
Libby Snyder each recorded one within the opening 4:00. Carthage's next header found the back of the net in the 47
th minute when Sisto capitalized off Stenmark's corner kick to make the score 1-0.

Sisto tallied her third goal of the season off a feed from Verbeten in the 53
rd minute to widen Carthage's lead to 2-0. The 65
th minute saw
Sonja Katt pick up her first point of the season when she dished a pass from 25 yards out on Forester goalkeeper Thiel's left to Bigirindavyi in front of the net. Bigirindavyi beat Thiel to push the score to 3-0 in favor of Carthage.

The Lady Reds notched their second header goal of the game in the 81
st minute. This time it was Stenmark on the receiving end of
Jacey Kent's corner kick to make the score 4-0. Dejno put the icing on the cake in the 83
rd minute when she snuck a shot between Thiel and the right pipe to extend the margin to 5-0.
