KENOSHA, Wis. – The Carthage College Lady Reds bounced back from last weekend's loss on Monday to defeat Edgewood College at the Smeds Tennis Center, 9-0.
The win moves Carthage, who is currently ranked 17th in the region, to 12-6, while the Eagles fall to 10-13.
The Lady Reds opened the action up on Monday with a shuffling of the doubles squads as for the first time
Casey Frommer and
Angelica Emmanouil played in the one-doubles together, defeating Alyssa Carew and Sydney Verbauwhede [8-1]. Also winning 8-1 were Carthage's two and three-doubles teams of
Max Mella and
Kristen Kalinka, and
Natalie Favia and
Eliza Barter respectively.
