WHEATON, Ill. – The Carthage College men's tennis team fell Thursday on the road as the Wheaton College Thunder defeated the Red Men, 8-1.
The 17th regionally ranked Red Men fall to 8-11 and 2-2 in the College Conference of Illinois, while the Central's #12 ranked Thunder move to 10-7 and 3-0 in the CCIW.
Wheaton opened with a sweep of the Red Men before
Herman Abban earned the lone win for Carthage on the afternoon, defeating Justin Ancona in a nationally ranked matchup in straight sets [7-6, 6-4].
