KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College women's soccer team will take on #4 University of Chicago at Art Keller Field on Wednesday, September 28 at 5:00 p.m. before they open College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play at North Central College (Ill.) on Saturday, October 1 at 1:00 p.m.

The Lady Reds will take a three-game win streak into their two contests this week. A pair of 1-0 victories over Aurora University and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse last week pushed Carthage's record to 5-2-0 overall. Sophomore
Maggie Washelesky tallied both Lady Red goals on the week to push her stat line to three goals and two assists for eight points. Freshman goalkeeper
Emily Furmanek collected 11 saves in net last week en route to her fourth shutout on the season.

Chicago is coming off a 3-0 victory over #20 Augustana College (Ill.) on September 24. The Maroons also defeated North Central College (Ill.) (6-0) and Wheaton College (Ill.) (3-1).

Thomas More downed University of Chicago 1-0 in the second round of the 2015 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament. The Maroons closed their 2015 campaign with a 13-7, 4-3 UAA record. This included a 5-0 victory over the Lady Reds on September 29, 2015.

Jenna McKinney leads Chicago in scoring with seven goals and three assists for 17 points. Mia Calamari is next with three goals and seven assists for 13 points. Katie Donovan has started all eight games in net for the Maroons and owns 24 saves, a .923 save percentage, and a 0.27 goals against average.

Carthage sports a 1-6-2 all-time record against University of Chicago, with their lone win coming in a 3-2 decision on September 22, 2007.

The Cardinals are coming off a 1-0 loss to UW-Stevens Point on September 24, which widened their winless streak to seven games. Their lone victory this season came in a 1-0 shutout against Edgewood College on September 1.

The Lady Reds will look for their first victory against North Central since the 2013 season, when they defeated them 2-1 at Art Keller Field.

Taylor Markanich leads the Cardinals in scoring with three goals for six points. Nicki Seiton has started all eight games in net for North Central this season and owns a 2.02 goals against average, and a .692 save percentage in 713 minutes of work.
