KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College women's soccer team will conclude their three-game road swing at Aurora University on Wednesday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m. The Lady Reds will return to Art Keller Field for a two-game home stand on Friday, September 23 against the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse at 7:00 p.m.

CARTHAGE COLLEGE (3-2-0, 0-0-0 CCIW)

The Lady Reds are coming off a 2-1 victory at Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference member Concordia University (Wis.) on September 16. A rain delay, slippery turf, fog and playing from behind were the cards dealt to Carthage in their matchup with the Falcons, but that didn't prevent them from escaping Fitting Field with a 2-1 victory.

th minute propelled the Lady Reds.

ABOUT AURORA UNIVERSITY (1-4-1, 0-1-0 NACC)

The Spartans opened their 2016 season with a 1-0 victory over Coe College on September 1, but haven't fared well since as a five-game winless streak looms over them. Their previous two losses came at the 1-0 variety against Elmhurst College and Edgewood College. The Spartan's lone tie on the season came in a 2-2 outing against Fontbonne University on September 10. Â

Aurora, who registered a 12-8-1, 7-3 NACC record in 2015, narrowly missed the 2015 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament with a 5-4 OT loss to Milwaukee School of Engineering in the NACC Women's Soccer Tournament Championship last season.

Kaitlin Im Hof paces the Spartan scoring attack with two goals for four points despite playing in one game this season. Caitlin DeRuiter owns a 2.21 goals against average and 28 saves in five games patrolling the net for Aurora.

Carthage fell to the Spartans 5-3 in their previous meeting on October 26, 2015. The Lady Reds own a 4-6 all-time record against Aurora. Troy Edwards is in his fifth season as Aurora head women's soccer coach.

ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-LA CROSSE (4-1-0, 0-0-0 WIAC)

The Eagles will square off against Luther College on September 21 prior to their meeting with Carthage. UW-La Crosse is in the midst of a three-game win streak that includes a 1-0 victory over #21 Augustana College (Ill.) on September 17.

The 2015 season saw the Eagles reach the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament via the at-large bid. Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (Calif.) spoiled UW-La Crosse's 2015 NCAA Tournament run with a 3-0 decision in the first round.

Haley Hartkemeyer leads the Eagle's offense with two goals and two assists for six points. Alex Cording is next with two goals and one assist for five points. Kennedy Brault has started all five games in net for UW-La Crosse this season and carries a 0.40 goals against average, and a .900 save percentage in 450:00 minutes of work. Her save percentage and goals against average each lead the WIAC and ranks 42
nd in NCAA Division III.

The Lady Reds own a 3-1 all-time record against UW-La Crosse. The Eagles defeated Carthage 4-0 in their previous meeting on September 16, 2015. The 2016 season is Jason Murphy's third patrolling the Eagle sidelines.
