MIDDLETON, Wis. – The Carthage College women's tennis team returned to action indoors at Hitters SportsPlex against the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where the Lady Reds fell to the Eagles 8-1.

The loss drops Carthage to 14-8 in dual meets in the 2015-16 season, while La Crosse improves to 19-1 on the year.

After dropping the three doubles matches, Carthage's
Taylor Bolyard won the lone match for the Lady Reds, coming from behind to win [3-6, 6-0, 7-5]. Bolyard, one half of the Lady Reds' CCIW doubles two championship pairing, improved to 15-11 in singles competition on the year with the win.

Next up for Carthage the Lady Reds will compete at Deer Path Middle School where they will face off against the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire at 12:00 PM followed by host Lake Forest College at 2:00 PM on April 24th.
