KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College women's soccer team (8-5-0, 2-2-0 CCIW) will travel to Elmhurst College on Wednesday, October 19 for a 5:00 p.m. game before they return to Art Keller Field on Saturday, October 22 for a match against Illinois Wesleyan University at 5:00 p.m. Saturday's game will be a part of the family weekend festivities.

The Lady Reds are tied for fifth place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin standings. They are in the midst of a three-game win streak that includes 2-1 decisions over Milwaukee School of Engineering, North Park University and Millikin University.

Sophomore forward
Maggie Washelesky tallied a pair of goals and 14 shots during Carthage's 2-0 record last week, which helped her land CCIW Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week this afternoon. The Northbrook, Illinois native owns five goals and two assists for 12 points on the season. Her four game-winning-goals this season ranks 28

The Bluejays currently sit ninth in the CCIW standings and will look to dodge a four-game losing skid against the Lady Reds. Their four losses came against Millikin University (0-1), North Central College (0-2), Illinois Wesleyan University (0-3), and Wheaton College (Ill.) (0-2).

Elmhurst's four-game losing skid comes after beginning the season with a 7-0 record. Â Kim Stanczak leads the Bluejays in scoring with five goals and five assists for 15 points. Her 15 points ranks second among all CCIW women's soccer players. Next on the list is Emma Krick, who owns three goals for six points.
