KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College women's soccer team (8-5-0, 2-2-0 CCIW) will travel to Elmhurst College on Wednesday, October 19 for a 5:00 p.m. game before they return to Art Keller Field on Saturday, October 22 for a match against Illinois Wesleyan University at 5:00 p.m. Saturday's game will be a part of the family weekend festivities.
 
The Lady Reds are tied for fifth place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin standings. They are in the midst of a three-game win streak that includes 2-1 decisions over Milwaukee School of Engineering, North Park University and Millikin University.
 
Sophomore forward Maggie Washelesky tallied a pair of goals and 14 shots during Carthage's 2-0 record last week, which helped her land CCIW Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week this afternoon. The Northbrook, Illinois native owns five goals and two assists for 12 points on the season. Her four game-winning-goals this season ranks 28^th among all NCAA Division III women's soccer players. Next on the Carthage scoring chart is Danielle Noverini, who owns four assists.
 
ABOUT ELMHURST COLLEGE (8-5-0, 1-4-0 CCIW)
 
The Bluejays currently sit ninth in the CCIW standings and will look to dodge a four-game losing skid against the Lady Reds. Their four losses came against Millikin University (0-1), North Central College (0-2), Illinois Wesleyan University (0-3), and Wheaton College (Ill.) (0-2).
 
Elmhurst's four-game losing skid comes after beginning the season with a 7-0 record.  Kim Stanczak leads the Bluejays in scoring with five goals and five assists for 15 points. Her 15 points ranks second among all CCIW women's soccer players. Next on the list is Emma Krick, who owns three goals for six points.
 
Emily Gordon has started all 13 games in net for Elmhurst College. She carries a 0.90 goals against average and a .833 save percentage in 786:06 of action.
 
The 2016 season is Paul Webster's 13^th as Elmhurst College head women's soccer coach.
 
Carthage owns a 10-8-2 all-time record against the Bluejays.
 
ABOUT ILLINOIS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY (7-5-2, 3-1-0 CCIW)
 
The Titans will enter today's match with Millikin winning four of their last five games.  Their only loss in that span came in a 1-0 decision against Wheaton College (Ill.) on October 15. Illinois Wesleyan is currently tied for third place with North Central College (Ill.) in the CCIW standings with a 3-1 record.
 
Alison Seger paces Illinois Wesleyan in scoring with three goals and four assists for 10 points. Rosie Pettenuzzo is ranked second on the team in scoring with three goals and one assist for seven points.
 
Katie Denney has started all 14 games in net for Illinois Wesleyan this season. She carries a .770 save percentage and a 1.05 goals against average in 1194.48 of work.
 
The Titans won the 2015 CCIW Regular Season and Tournament Championship. Their 2015 campaign ended in a 2-1 OT loss to UW-Whitewater in the third round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament.
