The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (11-3, 2-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin) snapped a three-game losing streak on Wednesday, April 15 with a 15-5 win over CCIW-opponent Elmhurst College (6-7, 1-2 CCIW) at Langhorst Field in Elmhurst, Ill.

Carthage led, 2-1, after the first period, 6-3, at halftime and 11-3 going into the final period. The Red Men's
Luke Seydel (Fr., San Diego, Calif./Westview) scored three goals with three assists,
Dylan Harris (Fr., Carlsbad, Calif.) three goals with two assists and three ground balls,
Timothy Francis (Sr., Costa Mesa, Calif./Huntington Beach) three goals with one assist and
Jared Ferrell (Jr., Trabuco Canyon, Calif./El Toro) three goals with an assist. Rémy Giacotto (Sr., Elmwood Park, Ill./Oak Park-Fenwick) converted 12-of-21 faceoffs, and goalkeeper
Ryan Smith (So., Centennial, Colo./Arapahoe) had two saves.  Matt Westhaver scored two goals for the Bluejays.

Carthage plays host to conference-opponent Illinois Wesleyan University (10-4, 3-0 CCIW) in a Noon contest on Saturday, April 18 at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
