After winning its first 10 games of the season, the Carthage College men's lacrosse team (10-3, 1-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin) lost its third-straight contest on Sunday, April 12, falling to Colorado College (10-3), 16-6, at Whittier College's Memorial Stadium in Whittier, Calif. The contest against the Tigers ended a two-game trip to Whittier, with the Red Men falling to the Poets (5-5), 14-7, on Saturday, April 11.
Colorado College jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first period and led 11-1 at halftime, Henri Halle led the Tigers with three goals and three assists, while Gray Ritger scored three goals.
Dylan Harris (Fr., Carlsbad, Calif.) led the Red Men with two goals.
Carthage travels to Elmhurst, Ill., on Wednesday, April 15 to play CCIW-opponent Elmhurst College (6-6, 1-1 CCIW) in a 7 p.m. game at Langhorst Field.
