The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (2-1, 0-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin) opened a two-game trip to Sewanee, Tenn., on Saturday, March 7 with a 19-3 loss to the College of Wooster (1-1) at the University of the South's Puett Field.

The Lady Reds fell behind, 13-1, by halftime, with the Scots out-scoring the Lady Reds, 6-2, in the second period. Helena Enders led Wooster with four goals. Â
Madison Griffin (So., Parker, Colo./Ponderosa),
Rachel Mussell (Fr., Mendota Heights, Minn./Convent of the Visitation) and
Shannon Long (Fr., Chesterfield, Mo./Parkway Central) scored a goal each for Carthage.Â
The Lady Reds conclude the trip on Sunday, March 8 with a Noon game versus the University of the South (2-0).
