After two rain delays, the Red Men were edged by the Mavericks, 5-4, and shut out the Pipers 9-0.

Pawel Jaworski (So., Deerfield, Ill./Lincolnshire-Stevenson, 9-9) fell at No. 1 singles to the Maverick's Jordan Lyden, the latter winning 6-4, 7-6(5).
Alex Boomgarden (Jr., Fitchburg, Wis./Verona Area, 15-4) was a winner at No. 2 singles, winning 6-3, 2-6, 10-5, over Mesa's Spencer Weinberg.
Jordan Verbauwhede (Jr., Whitelawe, Wis./Manitowoc-Lincoln, 13-6) fell at No. 3 singles, however,
Ryan Jump (Jr., Mundelein, Ill./Mundelein, 14-3) was a winner at No. 4 singles.
Chris Conley (Jr., Elm Grove, Wis./Brookfield Academy, 16-5) fell at No. 5 singles; but,
Alex Ferruzzi (Jr., Kenosha, Wis./Salem-Westosha Central, 11-7) was a winner at No. 6 singles, defeating Duncan Alger 6-1, 5-7, 10-6.

The No. 1 doubles team of
Pawel Jaworski and Verbauwhede (11-6) lost to the duo of Lynden and Weinberg 8-2. Boomgarden and Conley (12-4) were winners at No. 2 doubles, defeating the pair of Andres Garcia-Rojas and Cody Freischlag 9-8(2). The team of Jump and Ferruzzi (4-4) were defeated at No. 3 doubles.

Against Hamline, Pawl Jaworski was a winner at No. 1 singles, defeating David Yanagita 6-2, 6-2. Verbauwhede was also a winner at No. 2 singles, as was Jump at No. 3 singles, Conley at No. 4 singles, Ferruzzi at No. 5 singles, and

The Red Men resume match play in a double-dual match against conference-opponent North Central College and Lake Forest College on Friday, April 3, at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff in Lake Bluff, Ill. First serve against the Cardinals is set for 2 p.m., and match play against the Foresters will begin at 6 p.m.
