The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (7-0, 0-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin) extended its season-opening win streak to seven games on Saturday, March 14 with a 12-4 win over Concordia University (Wis., 1-3) at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis. The Red Men were listed as one of the teams "also receiving votes" in this week's United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's NCAA Division III poll.
The Red Men led, 3-1, after the first period. 9-1 at halftime and 12-2 after three periods Carthage's
Dylan Harris (Fr., Carlsbad, Calif.) scored three goals with one ground ball, and
Jared Ferrell (Jr., Trabuco Canyon, Calif./El Toro) had three goals. Rémy Giacotto (Sr., Elmwood Park, Ill./Oak Park-Fenwick) scored a goal and converted 11-of-19 faceoffs, Goalkeeper
Ryan Smith (So., Centennial, Colo./Arapahoe) played for the first half and collected six saves.
Carthage travels to Holland, Mich., on Saturday, March 21 to play Hope College i2-3) n a 2 p.m., EDT game at Van Andel Stadium.
