KENOSHA, Wis. – The Carthage College Lady Reds soccer team earned their first points of the 2015 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin season Saturday afternoon at Art Keller Field with a scoreless draw against Augustana College.
 
The draw moves the Lady Reds to 0-3-1 in conference play and 3-10-1 overall while Augustana goes to 11-3-1 and 1-1-1 in the CCIW.
 
Carthage goalkeeper Abby Alm had a terrific showing once again in goal for the Lady Reds.  Alm recorded eight saves in the game including one from inside the six box with only minutes to go in regulation.
 
Danielle Noverini and Maggie Washelesky each had one-on-one opportunities which both were put high and off target.
 
In the back, Rachel Post anchored the defense along with Kayla McGuinness, Kara Aittama and Darcy Stoeklin to allow only eight of the Vikings 12 shots to be on target.
 
The Lady Reds return Art Keller Field Wednesday, October 21st when Carthage hosts North Park University at 5:00 p.m.
