"Playing powerful teams from the University Athletic Association is in line with our philosophy," said Carthage coach
Steve Domin, and  get us ready for the stretch run. Now, we can evaluate what has been working and where we're headed. Today was reflective of that. It's evident that the CCIW race will be a dog fight. With five teams currently ranked high in the region, and a couple others popping in and out weekly, clearly there will be no days off."

The Red Men travel to Naperville, Ill., on Saturday, Oct. 4 to open their CCIW-schedule with a 2:30 p.m. game against North Central College at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.
