Box Score The Carthage College men's volleyball team (20-6, 8-0 Continental Volleyball Conference West Division), ranked fourth in the April 2 American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll, swept conference-opponent and No. 12 Lakeland College (19-7, 7-2 CVC West), 3-0, on Wednesday, April 2 at Tarble Arena in Kenosha, Wis. The Red Men's winning set scores over the Muskies were 30-28, 25-19 and 25-15.
Jon Storm (Jr., Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) led the Red Men with 16 kills and a .414 attack percentage (16-4-29), along with eight digs.
Jim Schultz (Sr., Salem, Wis./Westosha Central) had 16 kills and hit. 278, and setter
Connor Wexter (Sr., New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) averaged 13.67 assists per set. Alec Redlich led Lakeland with 13 kills.
On Friday, April 4, the Red Men travel to St. Louis, Mo., to play conference-opponent Fontbonne University (8-11, 2-8 CVC West) in a 7 p.m. contest at Maybee Gymnasium. From there, Carthage travels to Cincinnati on Saturday, April 5 to close out its conference schedule with a 7 p.m., EDT match against the College of Mount St. Joseph at the Harrington Center.
