Carthage "Gill Athletics Final Qualifier Results
Wisconsin-Stevens Point Final Qualifier Results

The Carthage College track and field teams played host to the "Gill Athletics Final Qualifier" on Friday, March 7 at the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center.  No team scores were kept.
 
For the Red Men, Derrik Guyette (Jr., Hortonville, Wis.) finished second in both the shot put (54-11) and the weight throw (Carthage-record 61-11).  Darin Ward (Fr., Fond du Lac, Wis./St. Mary's Springs) was second in the 55-meter hurdles (7.61), as was Michael Von Borstel (So., Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg( in the 3,000-meter run (8:55.09).

Carthage sent a partial team to the Saturday, March 8 Wisconsin-Stevens Point Final Qualifier at Quandt Fieldhouse in Stevens Point, Wis.  No team scores were kept for that event, either.  Darin Ward won the 60-meter hurdles (8,31), and Trevor James (Sr., Maywood, Ill./Chicago-Hope Academy) tied for first place in the high jump (6-11).
