Box Score The Carthage College men's volleyball team (19-6, 6-0 Continental Volleyball Conference West Division), tied for fourth place in the March 25 American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll, defeated conference-opponent Dominican University (Ill., 10-13, 2-5 CVC West), 3-1, on Saturday night, March 29 at the Igini Sports Forum in River Forest, Ill. The Red Men's winning set scores over the Stars were 25-21, 25-22, 18-25 and 25-13.
Jon Storm (Jr., Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) led the Red Men with 21 kills and a .487 attack percentage (21-2-39), along with 12 digs.
Jim Schultz (Sr., Salem, Wis./Westosha Central) had 16 kills and hit. 250 with 11 digs, and
J.P. Tulaka (So., Westmont, Ill./Downers Grove-North) had 10 kills with a .562 mark, two block solos and five block assists. Setter
Connor Wexter (Sr., New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) averaged 13.00 assists per set. Zachery Sinn led the Stars with 10 kills.
Carthage plays its final home match of the season on Wednesday, April 2 by entertaining conference-opponent Lakeland College in a 7 p.m. match at Tarble Arena in Kenosha, Wis.
