Box Score The Carthage College men's volleyball team (7-5, 1-0 Continental Volleyball Conference West Division), ranked eighth in the Feb. 25 American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll, swept CVC West Division-opponent Dominican University (Ill., 5-6, 0-2 CVC West), 3-0, on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Tarble Arena in Kenosha, Wis. The Red Men's winning set scores over the Stars were 25-17, 25-18 and 25-17.
Jim Schultz (Sr., Salem, Wis./Westosha Central) led the Red Men with 14 kills and a .440 attack percentage and two block assists.
Jon Storm (Jr., Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) had 12 kills and hit .333, while setter
Connor Wexter (Sr., New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) averaged 12.00 assists per set. Jeremy Royko led Dominican (Ill.) with nine kills and a .294 attack percentage.
Carthage travels to Howards Grove, Wis., on Saturday, March 1 to play CVC West-opponent and No. 5 Lakeland College (11-5, 1-0 CVC West) in a 7 p.m. contest at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.
