Men's 500 Freestyle Video

The Carthage College men's swimming team (0-1 dual-meet record) fell to Wisconsin Whitewater, 150-112, on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha, Wis.

The Red Men's 200 medley relay team of Lee Hollman (Fr., Fort Atkinson, Wis.), Chris Riordan (Fr., Skokie, Ill./Niles North), James Weslaski (Fr., Racine, Wis./Case), and Cameron Small (So., Franksville, Wis./Racine-Case) took first place with a time of 1:39.32. Hollman also took second in the 100 backstroke (54.73) and third in the 50 freestyle (22.43). Riordan took first in both the 100 backstroke (1:01.85) and the 200 breaststroke (2:16.87).

Erik Pinter (Fr., Bloomington, Ill./Normal-Community) won the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:53.39 and took second in the 200 freestyle (1:47.19). Scott Pinter (Sr., Bloomington, Ill./Normal-Community) took third in both the 100 backstroke (1:03.17) and the 200 breaststroke (2:21.79). Teryn Solan (Jr., St. John, Ind./Lake Central) won the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:15.65, and Aaron Dobben (Jr., La Porte, Ind.) took third with a time of 10:40.91. Ben Ertl (Jr., Phillips, Wis.) took second in the 50 freestyle (22.21), and Chris Vega (Fr., Barrington, Ill.) took third in the 100 butterfly (55.15). Nick Sall (Fr., Zeeland, Mich./West) was second in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:04.10.

Carthage travels to Lake Forest, Ill., on Saturday, Nov. 2 for a 1 p.m. dual meet versus Lake Forest College.
