The Carthage College women's golf team (65-24-1) defeated Millikin University, 368-398, on Saturday, March 17 at the University of South Florida's Claw Golf Course in Tampa, Fla. 

Heidi Chronowski (Jr., Monticello, Iowa) and Erin Holst (Fr., Bettendorf, Iowa/Pleasant Valley) tied for medalist honors with 88s.  Julie Klawitter (Jr., Mount Prospect, Ill./Arlington Heights-Hersey) shot a 95 and Tabby Bell (Jr., Bloomington, Ill./Central Catholic) a 97.  Also playing for the Lady Reds were Taylor Dory (So., Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) at 99 and Jenna Apple (Jr., Bloomington, Ill.) with a 100. 

Carthage plays next in the Saturday-Sunday, March 31-April 1 Washington University (Ill.) Spring Invitational at the Gateway National Golf Course in Madison, Ill.
