Hollis McPeek (So., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 8-8) lost to the Belles' Jillian Hurley, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 1 singles, while
Bari Reynolds (Fr., Sterling, Ill., 12-8) won over Jessica Kosinski 6-4, 6-1, at No. 2 singles.
Kristina Naidicz (Jr., Kenosha, Wis./Tremper, 11-4) was a winner at No. 3 singles.
Kelsey Bowen (Fr., Beach Park, Ill./Zion-Benton Township, 4-9) lost at No. 4 singles, as did
Holly Weber (Fr., Salem, Wis./Westosha Central, 3-9) at No. 5 singles and
Amanda Bizub (Jr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead, 9-5) at No. 6 singles.
Carthage's No. 1 doubles team of McPeek and Naidicz (13-5) won over St. Mary's. The Lady Reds' No. 2 team of Reynolds and Bizub (6-5) fell to the Belles, as did their No. 3 tandem of Bowen and
Kaitlyn Farrell (Sr., Ottawa, Ill./Ottawa Township, 0-1).
Carthage takes on take on the College of St. Scholastica on Tuesday, March 15 (11 a.m.), St. Lawrence University on Thursday, March 17 (Noon) and Principia College on Friday. March 18 (9 a.m.).
