The Carthage College women's basketball team (7-2, 0-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) opens play in the “D3hoops.com Classic” on Tuesday, Dec. 27 with a 3 p.m., PST game against DeSales University (5-4) at the South Point Casino Arena in Las Vegas.  On Thursday, Dec. 29,Carthage takes on No. 14 Wisconsin-River Falls at 9 a.m., PST.  The Lady Reds last played on Dec. 12 and closed out their home, non-conference schedule trouncing Beloit College (3-6), 79-49, at Tarble Arena in Kenosha, Wis.
