The Carthage College women's swimming team (2-0 dual-meet record) defeated Lake Forest College, 156-97, on Friday, Nov. 5 at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha, Wis.  

The Lady Reds collected wins from Amanda Croix (Sr., Bradley, Ill./Bradley-Bourbonnais) in both the 100 freestyle (53.47) and the 200 freestyle (1:56.01), Kayla Orendorf (Fr., Bloomington, Ill./Normal-West Community) in both the 50 freestyle (25.37) and the 200 backstroke (2:14.94), Ember McCoy (Fr., Aurora, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) in both the 500 freestyle (5:22.94) and the 1,000 freestyle (11:01.51), Jensena Paul (Jr., Portage, Wis.) in the 100 backstroke (1:04.32), Amy Mueller (Sr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.39), Susan Peinsipp (Fr., Lombard, Ill./Glenbard East) in the 100 butterfly (1:02.50) and Michelle Pelka (Sr., Elgin, Ill./Elgin Academy) in the 200 butterfly (2:14.36).  

The Lady Reds travel to Bloomington, Ill., on Saturday, Nov. 13 to take on Illinois Wesleyan University in a 1 p.m. dual meet at Fort Natatorium.
