Biography

2011: Named CCIW “Swimmer of the Year”…finished second in 50 freestyle (23.00) at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championship, second in the 100 freestyle (49.62) and third in the 200 freestyle (1:49.25)…part of an 800 freestyle relay team that finished 10th at the NCAA championship…part of a 200 freestyle relay team that finished 13th at the NCAAs…part of a 400 medley relay team that finished 15th at the NCAAs…part of a 400 freestyle relay team that finished 15th at the NCAAs…named College Swimming Coaches Association of America All-America…won her fourth-straight CCIW title in both the 50 freestyle (23.08) and the 200 freestyle (meet-record 1:49.73), along with her second-straight title in the 100 freestyle (50.04)…part of conference-championship relay teams in the 200 freestyle, the 400 freestyle, the 800 freestyle and the 400 medley.

2010: Won Carthage’s first-ever national swimming championship, taking first place in the 50 freestyle (Carthage-record 22.77) at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championship, as well as second place in both the 100 freestyle (Carthage-record 49.35) and the 200 freestyle (1:48.77)…in the 100 freestyle, both Croix and the winner, Kendra Stern from Amherst College, broke the NCAA Division III record.…named College Swimming Coaches Association of America All-America…named CCIW “Women’s Swimmer of the Year”…named the MVP of the CCIW Women’s Swimming Championship with wins in the 50 freestyle (CCIW and pool-record 23.07), the 100 freestyle (CCIW and pool-record 49.88) and the 200 freestyle (CCIW and pool-record 1:48.69)…part of a CCIW-championship relay teams in the 200 freestyle, the 400 freestyle, the 200 medley and the 400 medley…won three events at the Wisconsin Private College Championship, all with meet-record times, taking first place in the 50 freestyle (meet-record 23.81), the 100 freestyle (meet-record 53.94) and the 100 backstroke (meet-record 1:10.10)…named CollegeSwimming.com NCAA Division III “Swimmer of the Week” after winning three events versus Hope on Oct. 31…set a Carthage record in the 500 freestyle (5:04.71) at the Dec. 4-5 “TYR/CollegeSwimming.com Classic”…named Carthage’s Frank Falduto “Female Athlete of the Year” for the second-straight year.

2009:
 Finished third in the 50 freestyle (23.10) and fourth in the 100 freestyle at the NCAA Division III Women’s Swimming Championship to earn College Swimming Coaches of America All-American honors…part of a sixth-place NCAA team in the 200 freestyle relay and an eight-place team in the 400 freestyle relay…won three events at the CCIW Swimming Championship and was named the meet’s “most valuable swimmer”…took first place in the CCIW 50 freestyle, the 100 freestyle and the 200 freestyle… part of conference-championship relay teams in the 200 freestyle, the 400 freestyle, the 200 medley and the 400 medley…won both the 50 freestyle and the 200 freestyle (meet-record 1:58.99) at the Wisconsin Private College Swimming Championship…named CCIW “Women’s Swimmer of the Week” on Dec. 9 after winning three events and setting three meet records at the Dec. 5-6 TYR/CollegeSwimming.com Classic…named CollegeSwimming.com “collegiate swimmer of the week” on Feb. 9…named Carthage’s Frank Falduto “Female Athlete of the Year” for the second-straight year.

2008:
 Finished seventh in the 50 freestyle (23.79), ninth in the 100 freestyle and 12th in the 200 freestyle at the NCAA Division III Women’s Swimming Championship…earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America All-America honors in all three events, first team in the 50 freestyle and honorable mention in both the 100 and 200 freestyles…Carthage’s first-ever CSCAA women’s All-American…part of four Carthage NCAA relay teams and earned CSCAA All-America honors as part of a 13th-place team in the 200 freestyle relay…CCIW champion in both the 50 freestyle and the 200 freestyle (1:54.48), finished second in the 100 freestyle (52.29) and part of a conference-champion 200 medley relay team…named CCIW “Women’s Swimmer of the Week” on Feb. 5 with first-place finishes and meet records in the 50 freestyle (24.78), 100 freestyle (54.25) and 200 freestyle (1:59.02) at the Feb. 2 Wisconsin Private College Championship.

High School:
 A four-time all-conference honoree, her freshman and sophomore years in the Southwest Inter-Conference Association and junior and senior years in the Southwest Suburban Conference after Bradley-Bourbonnais High School changed leagues…won a Southwest Suburban title in the 50 freestyle her senior year…a state-qualifier in the 200 freestyle as a junior…set school record records in the 50 freestyle, the 100 freestyle and the 200 freestyle…part of school-record teams in the 200 freestyle relay, the 400 freestyle relay, and the 200 medley relay…both her freshman and sophomore-year teams won SICA championships…coached by Scot Boudreau…four-year member of the water polo team and named honorable mention all-conference as a freshman, first-team all-conference as a sophomore and first-team all-conference and all-sectional both her junior and senior years…four-year member of the basketball team.

Personal:
 Exercise and sport science major…member of the 2008-10 Carthage water polo teams…her older sister, Heather, was a member of the 2006-07 and 2009 Carthage swimming teams and played on the 2006-08 Lady Reds water polo squads…her older sister, Lauren, lettered on the 2005 Carthage swimming team…named 2010-11 Capital One second-team academic all-district as named by the College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA)…named to the Carthage dean’s list six times and a seven-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Oct. 26, 1988.
