Kyleigh Block comes to Carthage after a two year stint at Hope College on the volleyball coaching staff. She helped the Flying Dutch win an MIAA Tournament title in the 2021 spring season and claim an MIAA regular season championship during the 2021 fall season.
Prior to that Block was at NCAA Division II University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where she spent the past two seasons as a graduate assistant coach.
An accomplished outside hitter at Illinois Wesleyan University, Block completed her college volleyball career ranked with the Titans in two career statistical categories: fifth in digs with 1,608 and eighth in kills with 1,272.
In 2015, Block received honorable-mention All-America honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association as a sophomore. She helped Illinois Wesleyan make its first NCAA Tournament appearance in 17 years and advance to the second round.
In 2014, Block was chosen as the College Conference of Illinois Wisconsin Freshman of the Year in 2014. She earned All-CCIW second-team honors four times during her career.
