Carthage College Athletics

Lauren Hein, formerly Lauren Chatham, is in her seventh year as Carthage's head women’s lacrosse coach in 2020-21 (61-43, 7 years) following a three-year playing career with the program from 2012 to 2014.

A native of Hartland, Wis., Hein was named Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association first-team All-Great Lakes Region, and Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference (MWLC) “Offensive Player of the Year” in 2013. She was named first-team all-conference in 2014 and MWLC all-academic three times between 2012 and 2014. She attended La Salle University her freshman year before transferring to Carthage. Hein graduated from Carthage in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in communication.
