Maggie McCloskey-Bax begins her sixth year as an assistant women's basketball coach in 2018-19 after serving as an assistant coach at Ohio Wesleyan University during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons.Â
A native of Riverside, Ill., McCloskey attended Loyola University (Ill.), where she set an NCAA record for most-consecutive games with a three-point field goal (69). She also set both a Horizon League and school record with 325 career three-pointers, along with a Loyola game-record nine treys. McCloskey capped her collegiate career with an appearance in the ESPN "Three-Point Shootout" at the 2010 "Final Four" before going on to play professional basketball in Iceland for the 2010 season. She graduated from Loyola (Ill.) in 2010 with a bachelor's in psychology.
