Denae Alamano, the former Denae Fisher, completed her second year as an assistant coach in 2010-11. Alamano served as graduate assistant coach at Bemidji State University in from 2007 to 2009. A native of International Falls, Minn., she played one year of basketball at Bemidji State before getting injured. Alamano served as a student assistant coach for two years before being elevated to a graduate assistant coach. She graduated from Bemidji State in 2006 with a double major in health and physical education with a minor in developmental adapted physical education and coaching. Alamano received her master’s in sports nutrition, also from Bemidji State, in 2009.
